Weight Loss & Overall Wellbeing Course

Learn from someone who has also suffered from anxiety, depression, fatigue, adversity, and has come out the other side. Ask Merissa and she will share her story with you. Studies show it takes 21 days to drop old habits and behaviors. It takes 60 days to change habitual behavior and anchor deep into new healthy habits. That is what this course does.   • 4 Private sessions a week for 60 days (8 weeks) in the comfort of your own home or a public studio. (See Private Yoga Sessions on this page as to what is included). We start with basic fundamentals the first week then move into linking breath with movement etc. We also start with 20 minutes of intensive toning and sculpting practices. I try to customize each session with also staying true to the curriculum.

  • Meal plan consultations and guide book to either change your food choices completely or to improve them. You do not have to go vegan or vegetarian, however, I recommend it as a way to promote weight loss...at the end of the day, it's your choice. You will still be able to have all the tastes and goodies you love. Mmmmm;)

  • Journaling and vision boarding may seem archaic or kiddish, but read what Huffington Post has to say about it: "Creating a sacred space that displays what you want actually does bring it to life. What we focus on expands. When you create a vision board and place it in a space where you see it often, you essentially end up doing short visualization exercises throughout the day". Doing it together is fun and allows this creative process to blossom. A Journal is provided for you to write down your progress, weight goals, dreams, accomplishments and we share them together at our yoga sessions.

  • 5 books to read for overall lifestyle and wellbeing. No pressure to read them in 60 days. They are provided as part of the course and they are open for discussion at anytime.

  • With this course you are making a commitment to show-up to the scheduled private yoga sessions and work through things in a nurturing, loving environment. If ever you do not feel that way, you are welcome to share your feelings about anything. My mom and dad always listened to me and nurtured me through my life, I love to pass this skill onto my clients...it's a good way to love others when we can truly show and feel that we care in our hearts. Emotional wellness also promotes weight loss.

  • 32 Private Yoga Sessions usually go for $2,700... that's $85 a session. Plus $300 for the other benefits of this course. That is $1,000 in savings. To change your life and overall relationship to your body, 2,000 is well worth the investment. Financial plans available.

  • Realistically, if you stick with this course, you can lose up to 30lbs in two months. An average weight loss on any typical “diet" (if done correctly) is 16 - 20lbs in two months. My course is unique in the fact that I am pulling ancient wisdom that has been passed down from the reishi's of yoga as well as the scholars of Ayurveda in India. My experience in different dieting plans is broad, so I have pulled what works best from each program, thus more weight loss is possible in a shorter period of time.

  • What is great about this course is that you are developing an anchor in discipline through our sessions that could most likely last you the rest of your life. It's not just for an event to take pretty pictures. You can have all the tastes you love, have a mind/body practice that keeps the weight off and work-out schedule that is doable around events, kids, vacation etc. It works because I had gained 10lbs from a traumatic event in my life, developed this course, took it myself, and got my yoga body back in 3 weeks!
