Heart and Soul Exercise Method online studio membership is a safe space where you can workout in peace. No expectations. No tough standards. You workout the way you choose for what is right for you.

What is available in the online membership studio:

  • 6 Intermediate Core Method Classes with breakdown videos. A new core method class every two weeks. You practice the new class 2- 8 times based on what works for you within’ the two weeks. Basics Series and beginner will be available later in the year. Possibly advanced in 2026.

  • Breakdown videos: 5-10 minute videos giving you more instructional insight into the newly released class. The first breakdown video is called: Technique Talks which focuses on a specific technique that applies to hatha vinyasa flow, dance movement, and fitness fusion technique. You learn to refine your technique to get more out of your workout with better results for each modality.

  • Breakdown Video Two: Asana and Fitness Fusion Technique. We go over more challenging postures (asanas) and fitness fusion movements so that they are done well.

  • Breakdown Video Three: Back View of full dance movement sequenced choreography. Breakdown of each dance movement in detail. Each dance movement is repeated a few eight counts, sometimes longer.

  • Restorative Class: Restorative yoga postures held for 5-10 minutes. Yoga blocks, a strap, blankets, and peaceful music relax, restore, and revitalize body, mind, and spirit. One restorative class a week is perfect to help move old stress patterns out.

  • 20 Minute Fitness Fusion Technique Sessions: 20 minute workout sessions to rockin’ music with traditional fitness movements and fitness fusion technique movements for legs/butt, abs, arms (3lb arm weights). Fitness Fusion Technique is a blend of traditional fitness movements, yoga asana, aerodynamics, meta-physical principles, and pulses with extension.

  • Intermediate Core Method Classes are available now. Basics Series and beginner should be available in 2025. Possibly advanced in 2026. New classes are updated regularly.

7 core classes are designed from the aspects of the chakra system. This is Heart and Soul Method’s template in sculpting a fit body. Each week a new 75 minute class is available with breakdown videos. The breakdown videos will help you refine your workout, cultivating a deeper sense of alignment in energy flow.

Intermediate classes, restorative, and 20 minute workouts are available now. Movement for Children, Basics, Beginner, and Advanced in 2025. It is recommended to practice the new full 75 minute class each week 3-5 times a week.

With over 25 years of experience as a professional dancer, choreographer, 300hr certified yoga teacher, meditation practitioner, fitness/movement practitioner, actress, plant-based nutrition for 14 years, and wellness modality advocate, Merissa is experienced in leading you through this safe and affective exercise method. Her guides exemplify a full spectrum of support from many lineages near and far to help protect you in your workouts. After one month you will see a steadiness moving forward towards a healthy metabolism, weight-loss, and heart-brain coherence if you practice at least 3 times a week. It may take longer with doing less classes or depending on your overall lifestyle. This method tends to help you find that good niche of strength, flow, and balance depending on the type of regulation you need to have more sustainable days of feeling good. When we feel good, we tend to move into better health flow.

Body. Breath. Music. Movement.

The first 30 minutes of a 75 minute Heart and Soul Method class consists of more intense hatha vinyasa flow yoga asanas and 2-3 fitness fusion movements, followed by 10-15 minutes of dance movement. We then move into 20-25 minutes of hatha vinyasa flow yoga asanas on the ground with 2-3 fitness fusion movements. Ending in a long shavasana (final relaxation), breathwork and a brief meditation.
